A Wife to a Wonderful Man & a Mom of 3 Beautiful Children.

 When our oldest Son (Christopher) had decided to join the Military,
 we decided to create a website dedicated to him.

 The Last Soldier was finally created on May 17, 2006

 He has just graduated High School & getting ready to ship off to Army Boot Camp
 (Ft. Benning)(June 26, 2006)

 We are very proud of him (he has wanted to join the Military for as long as I can remember)
 I just cant believe how quickly time flys...
 it seems like yesterday I was rocking him to sleep (I guess they cant stay little forever) (LOL)

 When he left I felt, not only was my Son leaving but my Best Friend was leaving!
 I was afraid for him, worried & very lost, but yet I was very Proud of Him!
 I must have Hugged him a dozen times before he left....
 The last time I Hugged him....
 He said to me "Mom, you know you can't go with me!" I said "I know". (crying)
 I kept thinking when will I hear from him? When will I see him again?

 I have a hard time sleeping at night....
 everytime the phone rang I kept wishing it was Chris (of course it wasn't)
 Everytime I here one of his favorite songs tears would come to my eyes.
 I would come accross something online & wanted to share with him,
 I would have to remind myself he wasn't here!

 It is so hard to go about your daily routine when there is this empty space that you just can't seem to fill!
 I still think of him as my baby....
 Yes I know he's grown, but of course being a Mother you can't ever seem to let go (or cut the strings)

 When we were creating this site we also wanted to create a place family members of all could come for
 support, friendship or just to share their stories.
